Acetaminophen vs. Ibuprofen

On the case of #8 – Both Ibuprofen and acetaminophen are bad for you if you take them in large amounts or for long period of time. And contrary to #8, acetaminophen is bad for your liver, not kidneys. Both are very useful in certain situations however, so keep both around just in case!

Ibuprofen can fuck your stomach up fierce, it turns out. Unfortunately, all the general purpose pain killers have problems. A buddy of mine who does neurology says he just takes aspirin – it’s bad, too, but all of the alternatives have side effects that are more likely to become permanent and/or lethal, sounds like.
