That discusses the original script idea for Avatar and how it differs from the film that was made. It’s a shame as Cameron makes so few films that he couldn’t taken the good parts of the above and made a film from that, rather than they way he went.

All of this is valid, I’m sure. . but I’m still jacked up over the hijacking of Roger Dean’s entire career’s worth of artwork. The look of Pandora was invented by Dean almost forty years ago . . .back on the album covers he did for YES and others. Dean, dude, get a lawyer and go to town. . .
