On the subject of Quarantine, I really do recommend it… not because it’s good, but because it is one of the best bad movies I’ve seen. If you can sit through Deborah Morgan’s performance, you’ll find a movie that really, truly wants to be great… You can tell that this was *almost* a fantastic movie. The camerawork is stupid but there are a few shots that are truly amazing, albeit easy to sleep/groan thrgouh if you’re not careful. The (disappointingly seldom) zombie killings are as a general rule very well done and, include one of the few scenes in existence in which you can see a firefighter manually dispatching an undead foe in style.

I may just like it because I’m a member of Axes High, or maybe I’m a glutton for punishment… but somehow it makes it onto my “gotta see it at least once” list.
